Technical Project Management

Led technical product development efforts and managed numerous research projects in DSP, imaging, tools design and systems integration. Managed group of technical consultants that generated revenue based on hrs billed. Trained applications support staff on how to interact in the selling process. Product experience in telecommunications and internet based software and hardware including plug in cards , operating systems ,middleware packages ,and protocols. Led major product launch for Intel’s videophone project. Developed capture plan for 6M government contract in software and then managed team that performed on contract delivery.

Marketing

Developed marketing plans for new product launchs. Conducted market research and definition. Managed trade show activity and partner programs administration. Prepared and developed applications for demos and seminars. Established direct and VAR channels for software distribution including retail .Interfaced with trade media and press to insure maximum coverage of product launches.


International Experience
Worked with international distribution models and foreign governments to establish technical based solutions in Europe ,Asia ,and Latin America. Attended international trade shows and developed market plan to support shows. Extensive work with off shore telecommunications projects. Managed various teams in Europe & Asia on global accounts from both a technical and sales perspective. These efforts were conducted for major Fortune 500 companies such as Intel and Gould Electronics as well as smaller start up firms


Education

Earned B.S. degree from B.G.S.U. and M.S. degree from Western Michigan University in Computer and Information Sciences. While at W.M.U. was research assistant in the Computer Learning Laboratory. 12 hours toward an MBA from the University of Phoenix Continuing Education in various types of engineering management and problem solving techniques including work at the QFD Insitute. http://www.qfdi.org. Also worked in the area of TRIZ ,a problem solving methodology. TRIZ is often used with QFD techniques to build and manage project teams and drive project design goals.
